Bug#543669: [synaptic] crashes when select range of packages with shift

Hi, I have the same bug here. (package version : 0.62.7+b1) When I'm running synaptic in a terminal as root, I get a "segmentation fault" message when it's crashing. I'm able to reproduce the bug with gimp-help-xx (where xx is the locale). It seems to be true for all the languages available. Be
