sudo rm /usr/lib/pymodules/python*/PyQt4/uic/widget-plugins/__init__.py*
should be a workaround for you until there's a fixed version uploaded, which
should be done tonight.

After upgrading pyqt4-dev-tools (and python-qt4 etc.) from
4.4.4-4 to 4.4.4-5 (which should be a minor upgrade),
pyuic4 stopped working.
