with my Debian Sid ("dist-upgraded") same issue.
But on testing and on Sid with root account I can start several times
kazehakase without issue.

I try with an empty clip.xml file
same issue ...
the clip.xml file must be removed for start kazehakase.
for wait, I made a little bash script for remove clip.xml when
kazehakase start ...

After the upgrade today, Kz crashes always on startup. I can
reproduce it reliably with ~/.kazehakase moved away, hence reporting
it. A simple (but annoying) workaround is to delete
~/.kazehakase/clip.xml -- but the file is created again dur
