Yes, I have /tmp mounted with 'noexec' to prevent
executables being run directly from that partition.
You can close this I guess but I'm keeping the noexec
on /tmp. Thanks.

I've tried reproducing this bug and the package installed just fine
for me (and for some other people who I asked to check). Can you
please verify that you do not have the /tmp partition mounted with
noexec option (post the output of 'mount' command if in
