Does anyone want to put in a vote on which way to break the dependency loop?
Basically, there are two ways to go about it:
One,
ntp-server Depends ntp-simple | ntp-refclock
ntp-simple Recommends ntp-server
ntp-refclock Recommends ntp-server
Two,
ntp-server Recommends ntp-simple | ntp-refclock

Debi
Package: ntp-server
Severity: grave
Version: 4.2.0a+stable-8.1
Hi,
I just installed ntp-server on my debian sid, and the configuration
failed because the ntp user doesn't exist. The ntp user is created by
ntp-simple. ntp-simple must be configured before ntp-server.
