It might not enough that single commit to apply.

ntpd/ntp_control.c
These commits are also required to:
* Fix ntpd/ntp_control.c to handle crazy timex slots
* Cleanup struct timex long l
Control: tags -1 fixed-upstream
It seems that this issue was fixed in upstream.
