Hi. Thanks for the bug report. I'm not clear on how to reproduce this so
that I can fix it.
I installed python3.10, and asked the build system to use it. Instead of
the error you're reporting, I get a build error: it can't find the numpy
headers because python3-numpy is built for python3.9. This m
