I do understand this is generally beyond the scope of an NMU.
Please let me know if you have any concerns.
Kind regards,

ug in Chromium and a bug in FreeType.
I'm reverting the recent patch to FreeType to get Chromium going
again. The correct fix for FreeType has also been tested and verified,
and will be considered for bookworm after this weekend's 12.2 point
release.

Wow. odbcinst1debian1 hasn’t existed for years.
We’re only a few days from the release of Bookworm, so this will need to be
fixed in the first point release.
In saying that, the number of users impacted by this upgrade path must be
very small.

Thanks for the bug report.
This is an intermittent bug, which upstream recently fixed in idzebra
2.2.1 (not yet in Debian).
To fix the issue, upstream actually removed the subsystem and test, as
neither was being used.
The removal caused four public symbols to be removed, which triggers a
soname bump.

Dear maintainer,
Freetype 2.9.1-2 has been in experimental for three weeks now. As it is working
well, I have decided to upload the package to unstable within the next two to
three weeks.
A rebuild of your package with freetype 2.9.1 installed confirmed that y

I believe a reproducible example is to simply have a very large object
defined literally (i.e. through structure() etc) in ./R/ . For
example, fBasics has a couple of files test-jbLM.R and test-jbTable.R
which are about 500 KB. For a given amount of RAM, I believe any

Yes, but it is conservative, perhaps. 'dh_makeshlibs -V' then depends on 2.8.1.
Given what we know about freetype's versioning, this doesn't seem necessary IMO.
On another note, I was wondering if using 'cut' is simpler than 'sed'?

Hi Andreas,
Thanks for submitting this bug.
As you point out, libexif-doc should declare that it Breaks and Replaces
libexif-dev.
Currently, it only declares that it Replaces libexif-dev.
I'll prepare a new version.

This version of get-iplayer is working OK for me. I use it every day.
I just downloaded this file (Andy's Baby Animals - Hiding) to test.
I can't find --vmode in the manpage; there is a --tvmode.
