Hello,
it seems that the call to ioperm(), which is not available on hppa, is the
culprit. Glibc on hppa does not offer a sys/io.h header file.
Is there a way to write suspend2-userui without using ioperm()? I don't know
whether there's a portable replacement.

You're assuming that those manpages are to be moved from modutils to
manpages-dev. But they're not.
joey's fix was to disable those manpages in manpages-dev
The bug is Redhat specific. It was introduced by a patch they apply to less.
