How about something like this patch. It removes the DO_DER code via repack.
I've left the code tagged PW in for now - reading the copyright
message it specifically discusses routines so perhaps these aren't
covered. They would still need to be examined though.

This appears to be caused by a configuration error.
Your example sets fts_squat, but not fts_solr.
Compare yours:

In fact fuser is 0x0. Set is an offset in the fuser struct.
