hi joachim,
I don;t understand your comment around the "itemx" problem, there seem
to be plenty of other, equivalent cases in the file... how do you spot
the problem? pinfo? which version? or is there an info-lint?

i tried the packages in question, results so far:
- farpd, xsteg and scanssh need to be rebuilt
- memcached and tinysnmp-agent seem to work ok
- systrace and fragroute. i didn't get these to work or can't test them
without taking apart my computer/setup.
