idn't as I use a pbuilder chroot for
my builds, and wasn't seeing any issue. I wanted to see what happened
when I uploaded a new version to the ftp archives; if that worked (which
it did) I was then going to suggest a corrupted setup at your end.

I've found a "stupid bash-ism" in the postinstall script (the checking
if mysql is started). This should be fixed and out in a day or two.
