I tried clearing out session directory and rt-idx and starting from
scratch.
While there were no torrents, keyboard worked. After some time adding
torrents (moving from
the old rt-idx), keyboard stops responding. When I kill rtorrent with a

I can confirm that I am seeing this problem, too.
emacs -nw blocks, eating 100% CPU and not accepting any
