I've recently upgraded to kernel 2.6.24 as it moved into testing and
installed the nvidia driver version 169.12 from unstable. So far, I
have experienced no more freezes.
Can you please see if the new kernel and the new version of the nvidia
driver fix your problem too? I think this bug can be

I think I'm experiencing the same problem. However, the system doesn't
completely freeze, just X is frozen. Surprisingly I can still move my
mouse around, but the screen doesn't react in any way, not even if I
click on something.

I am so sorry, I misread the version numbers above!
I now installed the version in unstable (1.12.3-1) of all packages
from the source package evolution-data-server and it now works
flawlessly.

I double checked today, I have all those packages installed and they
all have version 1.12.2-1+b1. I also did an "aptitude update &&
aptitude full-upgrade" to make sure everything was up-to-date, but it
still gives me the same error.

I'm experiencing the same problems, but the
evolution-data-server(-common) upgrade did not fix it for me (I made
sure that after I installed it everything was shut down properly
before I tried it).
I guess something else you did must have solved the problem. What else
did you do? Thanks...
