Okay, severity grave was perhaps a bit over the top. Now I had some mor
time to investigate I found out that just commenting out "logwtmp" in
the config-file is a work around.
Compliling pptpd from the upstream source is not helpfull as it
complains about having been build for pppd 2.4.1.
