Moreover, even the "native" text mode installer (when choosing "Install" from
installer grub menu) is broken, it only has 22 languages in the language list
(instead of 60 one day before) !

task-japanese-gnome-desktop, we will have both, uim-mozc and ibus-mozc installed
on a Gnome system.
Is that ok? Or does that cause any harm/conflict/what ever?

ed after the dist-upgrade, I would count a cleanup
of 169 packages not that unrealistic.
And performing this autoremoval did not show any grave defects during a quick
look.
So, at the end, I fear without further information or installation/upgrade logs
we are tempted to count this as unreproducible...

workaround to fix the build for
now. I will apply that shortly, since I'm unsure how long it will take to
really fix things.
However, it still leaves a problem open with broken text in the Greek manual
(in appendix GPL), which is caused by another problem (broken xml->TeX
conversion outside of TeX, done by dblatex).
