we had the same problem when upgrading to ruby 1.9. Rolling back to ruby
1.8 using update-alternatives helped of course as a quick workaround
until we found out about mysql2 adapter.
Yes, mysql2 adapter is not included in Debian.
For everybody who needs a quick workaround:
1) edit /etc/redmin
