Some additional information:
Excerpt from my smb.conf:
unix extensions = no
wide links = yes
kernel oplocks = yes
use sendfile = yes
ea support = no
Notably, `kernel oplocks = yes` is not the default, which may explain
why only some people appear to be affected by this issue.
Running Debian ker
Package: firmware-bnx2x
Version: 20210818-1
Severity: grave
On Linux 5.16, the bnx2x module requests firmware 7.13.21.0:
# modinfo bnx2x
filename:
/lib/modules/5.16.0-2-amd64/kernel/drivers/net/ethernet/broadcom/bnx2x/bnx2x.ko
firmware: bnx2x/bnx2x-e2-7.13.21.0.fw
firmware: bnx2x/bnx2
Package: libtorrent-rasterbar9
Version: 1.1.1-1+b2
Severity: serious
Due to a bug in libtorrent 1.1.0 and 1.1.1, renaming a torrent (or, more
worryingly, loading a torrent that was renamed in the past) can result
in filename corruption, where subdirectories appear out of nowhere.
