I have prepared a patch for ignoring symlinks. But I need more info about your
second point.
Program don't scan user's home directory, but only ~/.themes/ subdirectory.
So I think the problem is related with symlinks. Could you check it please?

Sorry, but this information is not enough. There are no nor steps to reproduce,
nor back trace from gdb.
Program works fine during weeks without restart on more than 5 PC, which I

Yes, I was surprised today when package was uploaded.
I saw logs [1][2] and found 10 successful builds and 6 failed builds.
Package was built successfully when I tested it in my pbuilder...
