Hey,
I have been waiting for my maintainer to upload a new version since last
week :( he must be busy doing other things at the moment.
http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/users/arrsim-guest/libgit2.git/commit/?id=1230d224b48069ba4e1b613694b94f9f6ce6b68b
I would prefer that you upload my version if
Upstream 0.8.4 seems to build easily on Debian unstable
(the build system has changed since 0.7.6):
apt-get install debhelper cdbs libtool automake1.11 autoconf \
pkg-config libxerces-c-dev libboost-signals-dev libboost-regex-dev \
libfreetype6-dev libtiff-dev libgl1-mesa-dev libglu1-mesa-dev

I was able to build pgplot5 like this:
apt-get source pgplot5
dpkg-source --skip-patches -x pgplot5_5.2.2-19.dsc
cd pgplot5-5.2.2/
perl -i -pe 's/:.*/:/ if m!/usr/include/zconf!;' \
debian/patches/linker-specific-changes
dpkg-buildpackage -b
So the fix could be a one-line change in that patc

Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
wine32-development fails to upgrade to 1.7.44-1 in conjunction with
wine-development. /usr/bin/regedit-development/wine32, which looks
weird, conflicts with /usr/bin/regedit-deve
