After some time to reflect on this report, why is there an embedded copy of bind in the isc-dhcp source code in the first place? Is it used in any way by the Debian package? If so, shouldn't the isc-dhcp package use bind as packaged by Debian? If not, it may be simpler to just remove the bind so
