this bug does not affect the Lenny release.
I tried to reproduce it on three machines (two Lenny, one sid) - also
with different settings in /etc/default/snmpd.
I had no time yet to test it on a etch box, so

libfaad headers are inconsistent: internally, it uses uint32_t*. This
is a very unfortante situation, since even non-bugged software will
