It is a temporary error in Debian build system. The package will be
reuploaded shortly.
As a temporary workaround you could install erlang related packages
separately (erlang-nox, erlang-x11, erlang-dev).

I think your problem comes from a missing dependency on

I have got a patch from upstream, please get the source package of mono
1.2.4-4 and apply it and run at least: gfax banshee and monodevelop.
