This package builds fine (haven't tested it) if I remove this patch:
* debian/patches/999_ia64_atomic_ops_broken.patch
+ Added. Uses atomic builtins that gcc-4.0 know on ia64, instead
of those
for gcc-4.1. (Patch by LaMont Jones from the ubuntu package)

Hello Aaron,
many thanks for this patch: it gives me a valuable hint for other issues

Hi Neil,
thanks for your reports, but I have some hardware problems and I won't
be able to work on these
Package: revelation

Hi !
The applets.def can be found in the python-gnome2-desktop-dev package, I was
then able to build revelation.
Cheers,

Package: xball

xball searches fpr rgb.txt in /usr/lib/X11/
This cannot work, cause rgb.txt is in /etc/X11/
Please compile another version with the correct path or add a symbolic

Hi, I agree with Mark in that it is a little unintuitive.
Specially since the man page for wx-config is in the wx-common package
but the executable is in another package and the wx-common package
doesnt reference the -dev package and nothing about it in the
documentation for the wx-common package.

Hi,
This package is uninstallable because libgtop2-5 has benn replaced by
libgtop2-7.
Please rebuild your package against the latest libgtop2-dev package.

Hi,
Well, I think it makes sense -- it's just unnecessary.
Anyway, thanks for reminding me that I have to remove it
from the source build, too. I filed a removal request for the
package already a while ago but obviously it can't be removed
if every rebuild puts it back :-\
If you want it gone ASA
