After upgrading to the most recent version of slapd in testing, it fails
to start. This seems also to apply to the version in unstable.

Hi!
update-grub does not only exit with status code 1 without noticing the
user, one should point out that currently it's not possible to install a
new kernel with an unpatched update-grub. Installing a new kernel,
uninstalling the running one and rebooting will even result in

Same for me.
During upgrading base-config via aptitude I get an error message. Same version.
The package is installed but left unconfigured. Thus severity changed to
serious. Bug present on two computers and seems to be independent
I have installed new packages built from svn and the problem continues. Same
RPC error.

After doing aptitude update / dist-upgrade tonight, I cannot authenticate to my
dovecot mailserver anymore.
I enabled debugging both for mail and auth, but I didn't find anything useful
in the logs.
