The other problem with udev is there is a delay between a module being
loaded and the device nodes being created. This means you cannot just
modprobe in a module then immediately access it's devices. This meand

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the problem with cifs because I shifted
to 2.6.10.
I use smbfs with this kernel and do not experience any problem. I

unreproducible on sarge. same version of package in sid too.
Try moving ./.kde/sh
I think that the best solution is to put a "chmod" after:
/usr/bin/touch $new_mldonkey_dir/downloads.ini
in "mldonkey-server.postinst".
