Package: cppcheck
Version: 1.34-1
cppcheck enters an infinite cycle while checking the file
drivers/net/sfc/boards.c of the current Linux kernel. I waited for more than an
hour, but it still couldn't end checking the file.
A relevant piece of a strace log is :
open("drivers/net/sfc/efx.h", O_RDO
Package: cppcheck
Version: 1.33-1
cppcheck erroneously reports these messages scanning the current Linux
kernel(2.6.30-git2) :
[./arch/cris/arch-v32/kernel/irq.c:45]: (error) Invalid number of character
({). Can't process file.
[./arch/mips/mipssim/sim_time.c:100]: (error) Invalid number of char
Sorry for the wrong report! I randomly checked some of the files reported and I
didn't find anything, so I took for granted that they were all false reports.
Thanks for the status report.
