Package: PREEMPT_RT
Version: 5.10 to 6.0
I am writing on behalf of the linuxcnc community who require the PREEMPT_RT
real time kernel.
Linuxcnc is now packaged in Debian..
Users have found that there is excessive latency on network interfaces in
kernels 5.10 and above when using Realtek NIC's.
issue once Bookworm becomes the
stable release.
It would be great if the kernel team could review this and find a
resolution before then.

The suggested solution did not work for me. It's been a while since this

This command may give some insight but the other device would need to be on
a dedicated point to point ethernet connection (no hub or router)
sudo chrt 99 ping -i .001 -q 10.10.10.10
