Are we talking about the Asymptote project? I don't know anything about
Biber and don't recognize the filename bblxml. Neither does my
development computer:
locate bblxml
returns nothing and, in the git code, git releases, and sf releases,
find . -name 'bbl*'
also returns nothing. M

It was reported to us that the release tar balls (on CTAN and on sf.net)
seem to miss the file
bblxml.p[lm]
while this file is present in the github tar balls.
This leads to errors like
