Thanks for reporting this bug and adding more info. It seems this was
reproduced in bug #997482 and I can reproduce it locally when running
the testsuite.
I still have to upload the latest upstream version of sublime-music. I'm
hoping it will fix the problem? Otherwise, I'll try to debug this

I'm downgrading the severity, as I'm not able to reproduce the issue on
my machine running sid, although I'm sure it's real.
