It works! I noticed that 5.6 reached unstable today, so I tried it asap.
The driver compiles as it should, 3d acceleration works, vdpau works, even the
temperatures work!

I just got the email that the bug was closed and I got really happy! Then I
checked the report here and I noticed this bit

I'm running into similar problems with backported Linux 5.6 support
patches breaking Linux 4.19 on all other driver series ... I'm now
testing my own backport, and if you are lucky, that shows me the
solution for 340xx, too :-)
