Got it!
Patching was as easy as
patch /usr/src/nvidia-legacy-340xx-340.108/uvm/Makefile < 03-unfuck-
for-5.5.x.patch
and forcing dkms to rebuild it was done with
dkms autoinstall
via the recovery mode. Now I have
