Hi, I wa checking the same issue for Ubuntu and found that an update of slof to the version that is tagged for qemu 4.2 will fix this. Qemu 4.2 tagged slof 20191209 Booting with that fixes the issue. See also => https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/slof/+bug/1861084 I'll prep an PR for slof
