these extra profiles, but when we used aa-genprof on completely unrelated
programs. In other words, it (probably) affects anyone who uses aa-genprof and
has the apparmor-profiles package installed, not only

Dear maintainers,
I found the file under /usr/share/apparmor/extra-profiles,
and simply tried,
root# apt purge apparmor-profiles-extra
but this does not solve the situation.
(I just installed the extra profiles, not used.)
BTW: aa-logprof works.
