My openvpn-config file (to be imported into NM) includes the following lines:
dev tun
float
Both options are ignored when importing via gui. When using nmcli, I find
dev=tun
in /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/my_openVPN. When using the gui, t
I just tried the same thing on another machine running stretch. This machine
uses plain stretch, no backports for NM:
- Connection doese not work when imported via gui.
- Connection does work when imported via nmcli.
(nmcli connection import type openvpn file tuxgang_openVPN.ovpn)
