Hi, I think I made a mistake.
I noticed that doing "su - " instead of "su" switches me the correct way to
root account and then the PATH is correct.

Hi,
I faced similar issue
I was trying to use usermod command to add my user to sudo group and I was
getting error message that the usermod command was not found.
I checked the PATH env variable and it looks it is the same as for standard
users
root@kali-openbox:/home/kowalczy# echo $PATH
/usr/loca
