This port is 10 years old, it compiles ok, but upon usage it's rubbish.
Does not let you use Xinput and does not display the strokes of the pen
until you lift the pen off the tablet. (completely unusable)

What functionality is there in Xournal, that is not in Xournalpp? It's
by no means "a lot", I would think. Maybe I'm not aware of everything,
but in that case it would make sense to open a ticket at the Xournalpp
