the problem comes from the transition of mesa to glvnd.
A workaround is to link the missing libs from
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1 to
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/nvidia/libGL.so.1
and
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1 to
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/nvidia/libGL.so.1
