I'm bumping the severity of this bug because it affects a major
functionality of the package and impacts everyone.
I'll also send a fix to oldstable very soon (it's already fixed on my local
machine).

It happens that this is already fixed on Testing and Jessie-Backports,
could try to install the backported package and see if it works?

ii libstatgrab9 0.90-1.2 amd64
start bwm-ng. it displays networking statistics. press the 'n'
key and it sais "libstatgrab error!" and terminates.
I got no clue how to debug.
