I generated the types.conf file for hppa-linux per the instructions in bug
#654531.
With this file, ruby-ffi now builds on hppa.
There is one little problem though. The file is put in
ffi/platform/hppa64-linux.
Somehow we need to change CPU and put file in ffi/platform/hppa-linux when
building

This package fails to build from source on the hppa architecture, as can be
