It's me again, somebody in the gnome bug report (see [1]) found the commit
that caused this behaviour, could the Debian mantainers apply a patch to
revert that commit?, there is no activity
from GNOME developers in the bug report (don't know if they talk about it
in mailing lists).

Yes, in the interim, I wouldn't complain about a Debian specific patch. I
don't know what clever thing they thought they were doing with that click
behavior, but it's not clever.

GTK+ are aware of how annoying it is, if no one has already filed such a

This annoyance is not debian specific, so why (A) burden the deb
maintainers, (B) not make GT
