I suggest you try with tigervnc. I'm quite sure you can find a good version.
I found the following:

And you can also build tigervnc from GIT. This is the version that we
will upload to stable.

Since my work is heavily based on VNC do you have any suggestion in
the meantime? (go back to the wheezy version that was working, try the
sid version or compile another specific version or...? )

There are many known problems with vnc4. Upstream ceased development
over 10 years ago.
We are currently focusing on getting tigervnc into Debian.
Unfortunatly that will not be until next stable release of Debian.
