Julia 0.5.0-rc1 has been released, and not much has happened towards
integrating mbedTLS into libgit2 as an alternative TLS backend [1].
What do you say if the Debian Julia team maintains a libgit2-openssl
variant until alternative TLS backends are available and have matured?
