this bug is still present in the current Debian testing release (package
gnome-logs (version 3.20.1-1)).
The seg fault happens on every launch.
If run with sudo, the seg fault does not occur.
(It starts with error indicators though ("Unable to read system logs"
and "Unable to read user log

Trying to launch the application results in a segmentation fault.
Note: I'm not using gnome-shell, I switched to i3wm and purged multiple GNOME
packages in the process. No idea if that matters.
