Yeah you're correct it looks for gcab executable, not library.
Configure was borking for me without the executable in the path, I'm not
sure why that wasn't happening for you.
Yeah, what I'm really looking for is getting into firmware support in
gnome software. It's probably dependent on fwupd g
Oh, and btw: I'll ask hughsie for an appstream-glib release tomorrow,
and if there won't be one, I will do an upload of asglib with the
patch and a few other patches cherry-picked.
I will be at Akademy next Friday, so it's good to gave this done until then.
