Ricardo, Okay, I've poked around some, and it seems like efibootmgr won't even *build* with the most recently released libefivar0. There are a bunch of changes to efibootmgr upstream (dp branch in the efibootmgr git repo) that look like they resolve this, but since those changes aren't merged
