I've tested the problem with several clients: linux (mount -t cifs), win
(xp / seven / 8.x) and mac. When I use (i.e. vlc) to listen a song,
while listen almost 4/5 times the song goes down not even 1 seconds.

Also, 3.6 is really old. Can you still reproduce it with 4.x?

Hi,
I've lived this problem with different samba releases:
mount the fs with "strictatime" option causes a collapse of samba sharing
(collapse = instable network).
