Hi again, more info on that, I was able to hexedit /usr/lib/libgweather-3.so.6 and to change "1.8" to "1.9" by hand. That was enough to make the weather applet work. Therefore, it seems, the maintainer could (probably) make an extremely simple patch that uses the 1.9 API endpoint. Cheers, Tomasz
