I just checked the examples shipped with 4.6.4 and it appears that
Samples/Universal/interfaces is still shipping with "optional". Are you
OK with removing that for 4.6.4.1?

for some reason this is not fixed here - I checked the configuration
from /usr/share/doc/shorewall/examples/Universal/* with my files in
/etc/shorewall/*, they are identical but the issue persists.
The workaround:
Remove the 'optional' option from the 'net' entry in
