I tried my Lide110 with another laptop (EeePC) with Debian Wheezy.
No problem at all with simple scan. I can scan, abort, restart without
any issue.

I still have the same issue with simple-scan 3.13.90-1
It could be a wrong sane output that leads to crash your application as
the support of the scanner seems not very reliable. I have to disconnect
it often to make it work properly. It's a scan I got recently but should
be fully supported by SANE

I observe a segfault each time I do this combination :
Open simple-scan -> OK
Start a new scan -> OK
Interrupt the scan (click on the stop button on simple-scan). -> OK
